Lion dance is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture in which performers mimic a lion’s movement in a lion costume to bring good luck and fortune.

Performance in a lion costume, accompanied by the music of beating drums, clashing cymbals and resounding gongs, lion dances imitate a lion’svarious movement or demonstrate martial arts agility depending on the style.

Lion on the pole creates festive atmosphere and is believed to give greater prosperity and good luck. The poles which are lined parallel with another, each are elevated at various heights above the ground. The lion performs stunning feats on the top of these poles keeping you in awe.
